Week 1

Mobile App: Trailer/Container barcode-QR scanning

It is possible to configure the Qargo Driver App so that there is a point in the workflow where the driver can enter the appropriate ID. The option to enter this can be done manually or if the trailer / container has a barcode or QR Code the driver can use the app to scan this.

  1. Enter the ID Manually

  2. Use the device camera to scan

Mobile App: Complete 'Start/End Day' with one click

Start / End Work day - Complete with single Click.

Stops: Show Additional Fields in 'Stops Overview' table

If 'Additional Fields' are enable these can be set to show from the EDIT COLUMNS functions. To enable Additional Fields, navigate to Configuration and select the Additional Fields option:

Once enabled in configuration, navigate back to STOPS. These fields can be toggled on / off from the Edit Columns function to show in the view:

Trips: Visualise split between estimated driving and additional drive times.

When updating the Stop start time, there is now improved visibility for the split between the estimated driving time, and any additional time over the estimate; for instance any delays on route that impact the START time of the next stop.

  1. Estimated Driving Time - based on the route from the previous stop.

  2. Additional Drive Time - based on the difference between the estimated driving time (based on routing) and the arrival time to the next stop.

Rates: Additional data columns shown

An improvement to how data is visualised in customer pricelists now shows the invoice address postcode and accounting software code for the linked customer. For Surcharges, 3 new data columns are visible:

  • Add to order (Manual / Automatic)

  • Nominal code (for accounting software imports)

  • Invoice process (how to handle if value = '0')

Better visualising data that can be added or updated if required, and adding inline editing offers improved efficiency when updates or edits are required.

Linked Customer

Surcharges linked to rate cards

In addition to improved visualisation, for SURCHARGES (under Rates / Order Input), inline editing is now possible.

Rates: New Duration metric

Additional options for increasing / decreasing the DURATION of time to apply the rate to, this is in lieu of a percentage increase. This option allows additional time to be factored into the rate, based on the number of minutes added to the formula.

2 new options include:

  • Duration excl. free amount of - This REDUCES the amount of time the rate is applied to (ie: X number of free minutes)

  • Duration incl. extra amount of - This INCREASES the amount of time the rate is applied to (ie: X number of minutes added).

Order: Filter on charges with no price set

New filter on the Revenue column allows filtering based on charges that are added to the order, but with no value set. The option for filtering by 'charges with no revenue', will include orders which may have some revenue, but could have charges that still require updating.

This differs from the filter by revenue option 'Without revenue' as this filter will capture orders with no revenue set at all.

Orders / Trips: Edit price on overview list.

It is possible to update transport charges (orders) and costs (trips) directly from the list overviews. This is only possible if there is a single charge. When additional charges are present, a warning will be presented, directing the user to open the details page to complete the update.

Order / Trips: Separate columns for charges

Week 2

Invoices: Export to accounting button moved

There is a new 'Invoice exports' submenu option under the INVOICES menu. This is where you will now find the Export button for generating import files to accounting or factoring software. There is no change to the actual 'export' functions.

Moving to a new screen offers improved visibility of the history for exports using the 'Export NEW documentation' option. When using this option the file generated will be logged into the history table. Each line represents a file that has been generated. It will show:

  • File name

  • Date / time stamp generated

  • No of invoice records included in the file. This can include Sales Invoices, credit notes, purchase invoices, etc.

  • Replaced? indicates a re-execution of an existing export.

There is no change to the 'export' functions.

Rates: Cargo item - dimension based pricing

There is a new option to configure pricing on the unit dimension of your cargo items. This can be helpful when looking to have separate pricing for oversized items or pallets. This method of pricing will look specifically per cargo item rather than per order or per packaging type, etc.

Predefined package sizes must be set up in the Order Input > Packaging Types for this to work.

Week 3

Orders: Better visualisation of cargo details on orders.

Cargo details are now displayed in an easier format right in the Order Details View, making details more visible. Details are now organised with more information displayed, including packaging, weight and any appropriate ADR details. This level of transparency helps when planning or confirming loading details. This level of detail of was previously only visible in the Edit Order page.

It is now easier to update cargo details using the 'Add piece dimensions' directly from the order without having to use the 'Edit Order' function.

Cross Dock (APP): Scan multiple barcodes on single location.

There is a new option to scan multiple pallets using the Cross Dock scanning in the Qargo Mobile App. This new options creates a more efficient workflow when scanning multiple pallets to a single location.

  • Select scanning mode 'Pallets in Bulk'

  • Scan location / action barcodes

  • Scan all pallets that are to be placed in that location / require that action

  • Using the 'Choose new action' button will allow a new action / location to be selected. For instance, where some pallets are to be held at depot and others moved to the delivery vehicle, this function allows the user to easily switch to process the other pallets.

Week 4

Pallet Networks: Palletforce - Push/Pull delivery images

Using the Palletforce API it is now possible to send and receive delivery images into Qargo.

  • Uploading delivery images, for consignments which the tenant receives from the pallet network.
