Q. Can my driver enter the trailer or container ID being used for a particular order or trip?
A. Yes! It is possible to configure the Qargo Driver App so that there is a point in the workflow where the driver can enter the appropriate ID. The option to enter this can be done manually or if the trailer / container has a barcode or QR Code the driver can use the app to scan this.
The workflow for the driver app is determined by setting up a 'Question path'. These are set in the Qargo application under CONFIGURATION and TASKS. Navigate to Trips to set up the question path at the point in the workflow that best matches how your company operates. Use the toggle to set if the response is required or can be skipped by the driver.
Once the task is created, the next order assigned to the driver will show the option to add the ID.
If required on an existing trip, use the 'RETRIGGER' option to resend the trip to the driver.

Once a code has been scanned the details will auto update, and the driver is able to move onto the next question or complete the stop.
When the driver adds the Resource ID, either manually or via scanning a QR or barcode, the trip and order will update with the details. If the resource is listed as an active resource in the account, this resource is assigned.

If the Resource is not listed in the Qargo account, the ID will be recorded in the 'Question / Answers' panel.
