๐ฑ Mobile โ Cross-Dock: Free-Scan Validation by Planning Group and Order Status
Control exactly which pallets can be scanned onto a trip with five configurable validation levels. The previous on/off toggle is now replaced by permissiveness levels that enforce strict rules based on planning group and order status โ preventing non-compliant pallets from being scanned and blocking them with a clear error on the device.
What's included:
Five permissiveness levels from strictest (same planning group, unplanned orders only) to broadest (any pallet)
Validation applies to both Scan to trip and Loading flows
Clear error messages on the mobile device when a pallet is blocked
Support for moving pallets between trips on the same planning group
๐ฑ Mobile โ Cross Dock: Depot-Aware Barcode Resolution Across Multiple Depots
In multi-depot pallet networks where the same barcode exists on multiple orders, scans are now attributed to the correct depot automatically. This ensures status updates flow back to the right integration instance, eliminating the previous behaviour of matching based on creation date.
What's included:
Automatic depot detection when scanning barcodes shared across depots
Correct order attribution based on the scanning depot
Accurate status updates to pallet network partners (e.g., Palletforce)
๐ Orders โ Sort and Filter the Revenue, Cost, and Profitability Columns
Planners can now sort and filter orders by Revenue, Cost, and Profitability amounts - replacing the previous binary revenue toggle with numeric range controls. Prioritise high-value orders, catch data-entry outliers, and surface orders running at a negative margin with a single click.
What's included:
Sort any amount column by Ascending or Descending from the column's sort-and-filter panel
Filter by a numeric range (minimum, maximum, or both)
Negative profitability filter to isolate orders with margins below zero
Revenue-specific filters: "Filter by to approve charges" and "Has charges without revenue"
Persistent filters across pagination and saveable in custom views
๐๏ธ Dashboard - Container-Trailer locations count dashboard
Fleet managers now have a centralised, near-real-time dashboard showing container, trailer, and chassis counts per location with status breakdowns. See at a glance how many units are empty, assigned to orders, planned to arrive, or out of service at each terminal.
What's included:
Aggregated resource counts by location and status
Status categories: At location (empty/assigned/out of service), Planned to arrive (assigned/out of service)
Filters by resource type, country, location name, and status
Summary cards showing total fleet and assignment breakdowns
Approximately 2-3 hour refresh frequency
๐ฌ Requires activation. Contact your Account Manager for details.
๐ Planning โ Previous & Next Intermodal Connection Columns
Intermodal timing, locations, and operator statuses are now visible directly in the planning view without opening individual orders. Eight new opt-in columns show the previous and next intermodal legs with departure/arrival times, locations, booking status, and execution status - all sortable and filterable.
What's included:
Arrival time, location, and operator of previous intermodal leg
Departure time, location, and operator of next intermodal leg
Booking and execution statuses for both connections
All columns sortable and filterable
Available in the Planning โ To plan: Orders view via Edit columns

Week 2
๐จ A redesigned Rates module
The Rates module has a redesigned editor - same functionality, clearer layout. Rate cards are now shown as a flat, sortable and filterable list with the transport service as its own column, and each calculation appears in its own collapsible block so you can work on one section without scrolling through the rest.
What's included:
Flat, filterable list view of rate cards with transport service as a sortable column
"Add calculation" button moved to the top of the Calculation section, with a drop down option to edit or change the method anytime
Units and currencies shown as inline suffixes and drop downs directly in each field
Minimum Price, Maximum Price, and Indexation moved into their own collapsible sections
โฑ๏ธ Rates โ Waiting hours now has its own dedicated surcharge category
Waiting hour surcharges used to live in General Surcharges, mixed in with toll, fuel, and every other charge - which meant users were unable to use them in templates. Waiting hours now has its own section under Rates > Order input, so charge details can appear automatically in contact task emails and on PDF documents instead of being typed manually.
What's included:
Dedicated Waiting hours section, separate from General surcharges
New template variables for contact task emails (e.g. "2 x (50.0 EUR / 1)" calculation string, totals excl. tax)
Waiting hour fields available in the PDF template data schema under Surcharge summary
Existing "Waiting hours" surcharges are migrated automatically where possible
๐ฐ Rates โ New calculation method: Percentage of charges
Rate cards now support a fourth calculation method alongside Fixed amount, Formula, and Price table: Percentage of charges. Instead of a fixed amount or table lookup, the price is set as a percentage of a chosen base of other charges on the order - handy for a subcontractor or internal cost that should be a percentage of just the transport charge, without fuel or toll surcharges inflating it.
What's included:
Available on Rate card customers, Subcontractor Costs, and Internal Costs price lists
"Apply to" scope: All charges, Transport charge, or Specific charges
Optional final price rounding and conditions, same as other calculation methods
๐งฎ Rates โ Rounding on rate card calculations, explained
Rate card calculations can now round at two points: unit rounding, which rounds the metric (kilometres, waiting minutes) before a rate is applied, and final price rounding, which rounds the calculated price afterwards on Formula, Price Table, and Percentage of charges calculations. This means charges can match real commercial agreements - billed per started kilometre, per 15-minute block, or rounded to the nearest currency unit - without manual correction.
What's included:
Unit rounding on distance metrics: Don't round, Round down per, Round up per
Unit rounding on time metrics adds a fourth option: Round to nearest per
Final price rounding (Round up / Round down / Round to nearest) available via "Add final price rounding" on Formula, Price Table, and Percentage of charges calculations
Rates are applied at up to four decimal places of precision before rounding
๐ฐ Rates โ Consolidate order revenue on the same trip
By default, revenue split exceptions on a transport service are evaluated per order, which distorts cost and profit figures for carriers whose rates are based on the combined volume of all orders on a trip. You can now set a transport service to consolidate revenue exceptions across a whole trip - Qargo pools the metrics for every order on that trip, looks up the rate once, and splits the result equally across the orders.
What's included:
New "Consolidation" setting on the revenue calculation panel of a transport service
"Don't consolidate" (existing per-order behaviour) or "Consolidate per trip"
Automatic recalculation when orders are added to or removed from the trip
๐ฐ Rates โ Split revenue by planning group or resource group
If your multi-leg trips are handled by different resources, planning groups, or resource groups, you can now apply a different revenue split for each - without calculating it manually outside Qargo. The exception condition picker's Trip group now includes Planning group and Resource group alongside the existing Resource type condition.
What's included:
New Planning group and Resource group exception conditions on transport services
Sits alongside the existing Resource type condition in the Trip group
Planning groups and resource groups must be configured first under Rates > Order input

Week 3
๐ฐ Invoices โ Period Closing
Lock a completed accounting period in Qargo so figures that have already been invoiced, declared, and reported can never change afterwards.
Set separate revenue and cost period closing dates per billing entity - once a period is closed, its charges are locked, and any late correction is automatically dated into the next open period instead of quietly rewriting one you've already closed the books on.
What's included:
Separate Revenue and Cost period closing dates per billing entity
Charge date set automatically per a rule you choose (actual or requested start/end date)
Late corrections auto-dated into the first open period rather than rewriting a closed one
Two new invoice booking date options: Earliest charge date and Latest charge date
Locked charges can't be edited, deleted, or excluded from invoicing, and orders with locked, uninvoiced charges can't be cancelled
๐งฉ Orders/Trips/Invoice โ Reorder & Hide Detail Page Sections
You can now reorder and hide sections on the order detail page to match how your team actually works. Open the new Sections button in the top right corner, drag any section up or down, and toggle sections off when you don't need them - changes apply instantly, with no save step, and carry over to the trip detail page too.
What's included:
Drag-to-reorder sections via the new Sections button
Toggle any section's visibility on or off
Changes apply immediately and follow you to trip detail views
๐ Orders โ All Dates Filter on List Views
Clear the date restriction entirely on the Orders, Trips, Orders to Invoice, and Trips to Bill list views with a new All dates option at the bottom of the date filter dropdown, so you can pull up older records without building a custom date range every time.
What's included:
New All dates option on Orders, Trips, Orders to Invoice, and Trips to Bill
Combine with other filters (customer, status, transport type) to keep results manageable
Not persisted across refreshes - resets to the default filter each time
๐๏ธ Trips โ Sort & Filter the Trips List by Requested Date
You can now sort and filter the Trips list by requested date and time, not just the actual date. Previously the Trips list only worked off the actual date, so a trip that shifted - for example when a driver finished a day later than planned - could drop out of a date-filtered view. These new options bring the Trips list in line with what the Orders list already offers.
What's included:
New "Requested date and time" sort option alongside the existing "Actual date and time"
Filter by date type (Requested or Actual date) with a Between range
Filter by a specific requested time window
๐ Planning โ Extra Columns on the Intermodal List View
Activate trip number, last-leg subcontractor, and customs reference columns directly on the Intermodal list view (Planning > Resources > Intermodal), so you can check these details without opening each order individually.
What's included:
Trip number column linking straight to the trip
Subcontractor (last leg) column showing who's handling the final intermodal leg
Customs reference columns (export, import, transit)
All new columns are sortable except the customs reference columns
๐ Tasks โ Generate & Send Documents in One Step
You can now complete a Send document task in a single step. If the document hasn't been generated yet, Qargo generates it automatically before sending, so there's no need to complete a separate Generate step first.
What's included:
Automatic document generation triggered by the Send action, when needed
Already-generated documents are sent as-is, without regenerating
Week 4
Week 4
๐ Planning โ Collect/Delivery column on To plan: Orders
You can now scan the To plan: Orders list by the one stop that matters and bundle orders by geography. The new Collect/Delivery column shows a single relevant stop per order - its date and time, location and place - instead of splitting that across separate Collect and Delivery columns. Add it from the Customize panel, and sort or filter it just like the Order start and Order end columns.
What's included:
Single column showing the relevant stop per order (first Collect, otherwise first Delivery, otherwise the first stop)
Sea container imports show the customer delivery instead of the full-container pickup
Sorts and filters like the existing Order start and Order end columns
Reorganised Customize panel with a Split view / Combined view dropdown
๐ Planning โ Time window columns on To plan: Orders
You can now see and filter orders by their delivery slot without opening each one. Enabling Split the columns in Customise for Order start, Order end or Load/unload adds two columns - the time window time and the time window name (such as AM, PM or Booked) - so you can group the planning board by slot when building delivery routes.
What's included:
Time window time and time window name columns shown together on the To plan: Orders board
Filter the list by window name to group orders for the same slot
Named windows disambiguate overnight and cross-over slots to help prevent export errors
๐ฆ Planning โ Cargo columns in the Trip Groups overview
You can now see cargo load details directly in the Trip Groups overview, without opening each trip. Use the Edit columns button in the toolbar to add cargo columns such as weight, volume and pallet spaces to the table, and your selection is saved to your own account.
What's included:
Add cargo columns including weight, volume, loading meters, pallet spaces, quantity, packaging type, chargeable dimensions and ADR points
Column selection saved per user, so each planner can configure their own view
โฑ๏ธ Planning โ Update arrival and departure times of in-progress stops
You can now reflect on-site delays without ending a stop. When a driver has arrived and a stop is in progress, the Edit stop times modal gives you two choices: record the actual arrival and adjust the planned departure to keep the stop open, or record both actual times to complete it as before. Keeping the stop open means the driver keeps their task flow and can still upload the CMR and other documents.
What's included:
Set actual arrival and planned departure to extend an in-progress stop without completing it
Set actual arrival and actual departure to complete the stop, exactly as today
Available across the Planning Trips views (Timeline, Blocks, Table) and the stop detail sidebar
Stops that have not started yet keep the existing single edit flow
๐ Planning โ Confirm before moving an intermodal leg to a different shipping lane
You can now catch accidental lane changes before they happen. On the Intermodal view of the planboard, when you drag an intermodal leg onto a different shipping lane, Qargo asks you to confirm first - showing both the current and target lane - so you can verify or cancel before the move is applied. Dropping a leg back onto its own lane works exactly as before, with no prompt.
What's included:
Confirmation modal naming both the current and target shipping lane
Confirm to move the leg, or cancel to restore it to its original lane
Prompt only appears when the lane actually changes, so same-lane moves stay instant
