FAQ - How can I retrigger a task?

Written by Arynne Hargreaves

Once a task has been initiated, users have the ability to trigger it again at any time. Suppose a user created a trip sheet, and later on, the itinerary for that trip is updated, re-trigger the task to generate a new trip sheet reflecting the most up-to-date information in Qargo.

Re-trigger a task on Stop level

Documents created on stop level will show on the consignment itself but to re-trigger the document generation, go to the Stops documents and tasks section of the Execution.

  • Find & expand the stops

    • Click the '+tasks' to expand tasks that have executed already.

  • Locate the tasks that are available for those stops, including the option to re-trigger:

Bulk Actions on Failed Tasks

When many tasks have failed at once, for example after an integration issue or a bulk import error, the Failed Tasks page supports bulk Re-trigger, Reset, and Skip in a single operation.

  1. Click the action button in the top right corner of the navigation bar. It shows a red notification badge when there are failed or in-progress tasks.

  2. In the dropdown that opens, click the eye icon next to failed tasks.

  3. The Failed Tasks page opens.

  4. Select the checkbox for all the tasks to re-trigger

  5. Click 'Re-trigger'
