Q. I want to be able to compare the customer requested times against what was planned and what times were actually realised. Is it possible to report on this and see compare these details?

A. Yes β€” you can export planned, estimated, and actual timestamps for stops and trips. This helps you compare what was planned versus what actually happened, supporting better performance tracking and reporting. Analyse trip performance by exporting all key timestamps; and use these exports to measure planning accuracy while identifying areas for improvement in operations.

πŸ“˜ Terminology

Term

Definition

Planned Timestamp

The original date and time scheduled for a stop or trip.

Estimated Timestamp

A calculated prediction of when a stop or trip is expected to happen, often updated based on progress or conditions.

Actual Timestamp

The real date and time when a stop or trip occurred.

Custom Export

A user-defined data export that includes selected fields, created to meet specific reporting needs.

This export feature allows you to:

  • Export timestamps for each stop and trip, including:

    • Planned timestamps – what was originally scheduled by the planner

    • Estimated timestamps – system-calculated predictions based on real-time or updated data

    • Actual timestamps – what actually occurred during the trip

πŸ§ͺ Common Use Cases

  • Performance & KPI Reports:
Compare planned vs. actual delivery or pickup times to track on-time performance.

  • Customer Service:
Provide accurate records of when deliveries were expected versus when they occurred.

  • Continuous Improvement:
Identify planning patterns or delays and use the data to optimize scheduling.

πŸ” Limitations

  • This feature is only available for custom exports at the moment.
Standard or built-in exports do not yet include these timestamp fields.

Create export to show timestamps

  • Navigate to CONFIGURATION>Templates

  • Select 'File export/downloads' from the side menu

  • Click 'Create Export' button

  • Give the export a name and select 'Export Type' to reflect what data you are looking to capture

Add the fields for the export

  • From the 'Qargo field' select the data to include in the export

  • Each timestamp option is available for both the PICK UP and DELIVERY stops

πŸ“š To see all the timestamp options available, type 'Timestamp' into the Qargo Field and the available options will show in the drop down.
