Order Groups is a powerful feature in Qargo that allows users to bundle different orders together, managing them as a single unit. This is particularly useful for handling complex jobs or multiple deliveries to the same client.
A common use case for this feature is when a user needs to consolidate multiple orders for a single client, making it easier to track and manage the entire delivery process.
π Key Terminology

Configuration Module: The section in Qargo where users can adjust settings and enable features like Order Groups.

π Steps for Workflow
π To enable the Order Groups feature, reach out to Support or to your Account Manager
Once the Order Groups feature is activated, you can start creating and managing order groups:
1. Go to the Orders module and click on the now enabled Order Groups tab and then click on the Create order group button.
2. Give your group a name and select the orders you want to include. Click on Save
On the main Order Group page, you can manage everything in the Order section. You can add new or existing orders to the group at any time, and even add relevant documents directly to the Order group itself.
π The Order Group Status will reflect the status of the order that is in the earliest stage of the workflow (e.g., To Plan takes precedence over Planned).
From the main Orders tab, you can use a quick action menu next to any existing order to create a new order group and include that order immediately.
To link an order to a group right as you create it:
1. Go back to the Configuration module and select Additional Fields. Then click on Orders and look for the Order Group field.
2. Activate it and toggle on Always Show. Click on Save.
Now, when you create a single Order, the Order Group field will be right there, letting you assign it instantly.
