Vehicle registration number/plate number of vehicle is not displayed at the side of the driver, how do i make it visible?

Navigate to the planning tab and click on "Customise" button located on top right.
Set the toggle of the vehicle on as shown below:

After setting the toggle, the vehicle registration should be visible:
