When you're working with subcontractors that have a certain amount of drivers working for you on a daily basis, but you make their planning, these need to be created as an external driver.
An external driver is NOT on your payroll, but on the subcontractor's payroll.
You create an external driver in the same way as an owned driver, but you link it to the subcontractor on the driver detail. Same is valid for external vehicles.
Configuration:
If the resource does not exist yet:
To be able to configure this, simply navigate to Resources tab and make selection of driver/vehicle.
Click on add driver(or vehicle)
While filling in the details, also link the resource to the related subcontractor
Save your data
If the resource already exists:
To be able to configure this, simply navigate to Resources tab and locate the driver/vehicle you want to register as an external
Select the subcontractor from the list
Save your data
The full list overview of the resources will also allow you to filter on the subcontractors that your resource is linked to where you can track/locate the external resources:
