FAQ - User Role Permission and Visibility

Operational user roles may have restricted visibility to some menus. Read-only access for this can be added in User Settings.

Q. I can no longer see some of the menu functions that I could before? Why have tabs disappeared?

A. User roles have been updated to create a more streamlined experience for Qargo users.

Users are assigned a role in the application which will have default functions associated to them. As a result some users may no longer see menu items or tabs that were previously visible. All default functions within a user role will remain visible and there is no change to how these work. These tabs/functions will have both read and write functionality.

Tabs / Functions that are not default on a user role, can be enabled as READ ONLY, by checking the box in the User Settings.

Default functions are defined as having both 'Read and Write' access.
