When you add a driver, you can opt to give that person access to the mobile app. Please advise the drivers that they need to download the Qargo App on their smartphones.
Activate the mobile app for a driver
Navigate to Resources.
Click on Drivers in the header.
Click on the Driver's name you want to activate on the mobile app
This will open the Driver profile. Navigate down to the Mobile app/Subco portal panel
Enter the driver's e-mail address (Optional).
If the driver will be using Pincodes to access loads in the app, the email is not required.
Toggle 'Mobile app access' on.
Toggle 'Access by pincode' on. (Optional).
If the driver will log into the app via email / password, pincodes do not need to be enabled.
Click SAVE.
Mobile app access: This toggle will enable access to enter updates in the app, for trips that have been dispatched to them from the account. Once activated, the second option will be enabled.
Access by pincode: This toggle enables pincode access for specific trips. A pincode is generated for a specific trip, and can be sent to the driver via QR codes in trip sheets or as a manual code for them to enter.
πIf pincodes are NOT enabled on the resource assigned to the trip, No Pincode is generated. To generate the pincode, unassign the resource then enable the Pincode toggle. Reassign the resource, and the pincode will generate.
