Q. Why can’t I cancel my order? The cancel option is greyed out and I can't click it.
A. Don’t worry—this usually happens for a good reason. Here are the two most common ones.
1. The order is set to "Ready to Invoice"
Once an order is flagged as Ready to Invoice, cancellation is locked to avoid mistakes. The fix is simple: Reset the Ready to Invoice task and the Cancel order option will light up again.
Open the order details page.
In the list of order tasks, find the task Ready to Invoice.
Reset this task.
Once reset, the Cancel order button will become available again.
2. The order came from another tenant
If the order was outsourced from another tenant, you won’t be able to cancel it on your side.
💬 In this case, you’ll need to contact the tenant that submitted the order to cancel the order.
