Pricing based on locations is possible by creating a price list that uses specific stop locations as part of the calculation metrics. This can be used where a single customer has different rates based on different locations that are in the same postcode.

Configure the Rate Card

  • Navigate to RATES > Rate cards by customer

  • Click 'create rate card'

  • Select the transport service to create the new price list under

  • Complete the 'General Info' section

  • If the price list will be the default for ALL customers, set the toggle ON

    • If OFF, once the pricelist is built, assign specific customer(s)

  • SAVE the pricelist.

  • Navigate to the 'Prices' panel and click the Edit icon on the Transport Charge row

Fixed Price

  • Complete the Price Calculation details

  • Set the calculation method = Fixed price / per order

  • Add the amount to charge per order

  • Click 'Add Condition' to enter the location details

Pro Tip: For single location use the Operator 'is'. To enter multiple locations use the operator 'in'.

Price Table

  • Complete the Price Calculation details

  • Set the calculation method = Price Table / Result of the table: 'Fixed per stop'

  • Where multiple locations on the price table are used as stops on a trip, there are 2 further options:

    • Sum price of the stops: Charge will be the total of all the prices of the location stops used on the trip.

    • Take the maximum price over all stops. Charge will be the highest price of all the prices of the location stops used on the trip.

Price Table options

Route stop location metric:

  • Specify specific stop where the price is valid.

Stop location metric:

  • Price applied as soon as the location is used as stop specified in the condition is met.

Sum all stops option:

  • Condition will determine which stops are included. In the example below BOTH the collect AND deliver locations are included in the table, therefore the cost for both is included.

Maximum price option:

  • Condition will determine which stops are included. In the example below ONLY delivery locations are included in the table, therefore only the cost is included.
