Q. I am using the Qargo Add-in through my Outlook email. I keep having problems sending and receiving emails through the plugin. Sometimes it takes a while for my emails to update in the plugin.

A. If you find that email functions do not work as expected, ie: delays or failures in sending or receiving emails, this may be a connection issue. The first step is to verify that the outlook email is included and configured correctly in the Organisation settings.

Please contact your Qargo Super Admin to verify your email settings.

From Configuration, navigate to the Organisation Settings submenu.

Scroll to the 'Linked mailboxes (beta)' section. Here there will be a list of mailbox addresses that have been added.

Status:

  • Linked: this indicates that the email address has been successfully linked and authorised. The Qargo PlugIn should work successfully.

  • Unlinked: This indicates that the email has not been linked successfully. Click the 'Authorise API' button to begin the setup process. A popup will ask you to connect to your mailbox and redirect you to login to Email. Follow the prompts by your email provider to allow Qargo Tech Ltd access, and complete the set up.

  • Pending Authorisation / Reauthorise API (Green): The mailbox was previously linked but requires reauthorisation. Click the 'Reauthorise API'. A popup will ask you to connect to your mailbox and redirect you to login to Email. Follow the prompts by your email provider to allow Qargo Tech Ltd access, and complete the set up.

  • Pending Authorisation / Reset API Link Status (Red): There was a problem linking the mailbox and the process was not completed. The mailbox is not linked and the status needs to be reset. Click the 'Reset API link status' button. A popup will ask you to Reset the API link status. Click 'Reset' to confirm. The status will reset back to the Unlinked / Authorise API option. Click to complete the authorisation process.

If the email is showing Linked with no errors, it is still possible to select 'Reauthorise API'. This will follow the same authorisation flow, requiring the user to log into their email and confirm permission. Reauthorising the link will update to the latest connections settings.

If the mailbox is showing linked and authorised in the organisation settings, but there are still service issues please contact our Support team via our Message Centre for further assistance.
