You can add an intermodal operator in Resources.

  • Navigate to Resources

  • Click on "Add intermodal operator".

  • Search the intermodal operator of your choice by typing it or view the intermodal operator table for more options

⚠️ Please contact support([email protected]) / via Intercom if the intermodal operator is not to be found in the list of operators.

  • Fill the necessary fields like name, address VAT no ect

  • Save the intermodal operator.

  • Adding an intermodal connection in the operator page

  • Locate the intermodal operator that you want to add the connection to.

  • Click on the operator to open the operator page.

  • Click "add intermodal connection" option.

  • Fill in the name of the connection(ie. Zeebrugge-Gothenburg) , select the modality(ie. ferry or station) and select the departure station and arrival station by searching the Qargo database or checking the full list of global locations.

⚠️ Please contact support([email protected]) / via Intercom if the intermodal operator is not to be found in the list of operators.

If you have specific timetables for this route, you can also add them by clicking on "add time table" option.

⚠️ The routes are created as one way, so if you want to have a return route, this also needs to be added individually as an extra route(see below).

Adding intermodal stop to an order

  • Locate the order that you want to add intermodal connection and open the order page.

  • Locate the route where you want to add the intermodal connection to.

⚠️ An order can not start or end with an intermodal connection stop. So the connection needs to be set in between the stops in the order.

  • Click on Plus icon to add the intermodal connection

  • Make the selection of intermodal connection between:
*Accompanied: the connections that the driver is included in the route

*Unaccompanied: the connections where the driver does not get included in the route

  • Add the line that you would like to use in the order.

  • Select the time table that is applicable and the departure date(if set before in the line as explained above - then the hours will automatically get filled in).

  • Set the dates and hours of the vessel/train and any other necessary information like references(if applicable) and save it.

  • If your connection is unaccompanied, the order will be split into legs as below:

  • If your connection is accompanied, you will have 1 trip/1consignment for his route:

Viewing orders with intermodal connection

  • Navigate to the planboard

  • Click on the intermodal planning view

  • Here you will see the orders that have been planned with the intermodal connection

  • You can track the status, route and customise the view
