When you create an order or edit an order afterwards, you can add which product or product type it contains. Once selected, it will automatically complete several important details so you save time. Those details can be added in Configuration.

Add a product type

  • Navigate to Configuration > Order input > Product options.

  • Click on "Product types".

  • Click on "New product type".

  • Add the details of that new product type and save it.

  • Repeat until all relevant product types are created and saved.

You can add the name of the product type, a code, a description etc. You can also link to certain customers so that this product type is automatically shown when creating a new order for that customer.

You can also restrict a product type with limited vehicles, drivers, subcontractors or containers. You can also opt to limit a product type to a certain transport service.

Add a product

Once the product types are created, you can start adding products.

  • Navigate to Configuration > Order input > Product options.

  • Go to "Products".

  • Click on "New product"

  • Add the relevant products and add the already created product types.

Here you see an example of a Product page of an ADR product

Customise which fields are shown on the Products page

You can customise which fields to be added on the Products page.

  • Navigate to Configuration > Additional fields

  • Click on "Cargo" on the left sidebar.

Per row you can choose to make that cargo item active or inactive. Only active items will be shown in the Products page. On this page, you can for instance add an ADR option, the temperature, pallet spaces, gravity to the goods details etc.

If the option you would like to show does not exist in the default list, you can also add extra fields by scrolling down and clicking on "Add custom fields".

You can also opt to add packaging types (e.g. full load, pallet..).
