Insurance Code:

As part of the integration configuration, there is an option to add an Insurance code for goods. The default is to add at the Integration level. However, there are also options to set the code at both the customer and order level. The values for these can be activated in ADDITIONAL FIELDS, for both Customer and Order.

Set Insurance at Configuration Level.

Activate field on CUSTOMER:

  • Navigate to configuration

  • Click 'Additional Fields' in the submenu.

  • On the side menu, select Customers.

  • Select 'Palletforce Insurance Code' in the list and click the pencil icon to edit.

  • Select Active and set toggle to on for 'always show' - will add a field with drop down menu (if toggled on):

  • Select Active and set toggle to off for 'always show' - will add an option to + Add Information to select.

Activate field on ORDER:

  • Navigate to configuration

  • Click 'Additional Fields' in the submenu.

  • On the side menu, select Orders.

  • Select 'Palletforce Insurance Code' in the list and click the pencil icon to edit.

  • Select the transport services to make this Active on.

    • Set default 'Always show' - If toggled off, added from 'Add note/reference number'

    • Set default 'Always show' - If toggled on, will show as a field to complete on order entry.

Sending Logic in export:

  1. Order level code, if present; or else

  2. Customer level code, if present; or else

  3. Integration level code.

Including the goods insurance code at the order level will ensure that any changes made to the order will retain the appropriate code.

Add a transport network

Additionally, add a transport network.

  • Navigate to Locations

  • Click on Transport networks in the header

  • Click on Add transport network and create a new Central network for Palletforce

  • Once created, choose in the dropdown menu Automatically assign resources, the option For all customers

  • Add their depot in the “Hubs and depots” section, mark it as “internal” and fill in the location, e.g.:

  • Click on Owned postal codes and

    • add the code of your depot in Default depot code.

    • add the postcode ranges/prefixed that your depot is responsible for.
