When you create an order or edit an order afterwards, you can add which packaging type it contains. Once selected, it will automatically complete several important details so that you save time. Those details can be added in Configuration.
Navigate to Configuration > Order input > Cargo options
Click on "Packaging types" in the left side bar.
Click on "New packaging type"
Add the relevant packaging types.
You can add the name of the packaging type, a code, a description etc. You could also link the packaging type to certain ratecards, if extra charge would occur when this packaging type is used.
In addition, you can add various sizes in the "Predefined package size" (length, width, loading meter etc).
You can also restrict a product type with limited vehicles, drivers, subcontractors or containers. You can also opt to limit a product type to a certain transport service.
