Configure Incidents (cargo)

Configure incidents that can happen on a cargo, eg goods are damaged. This will record the incident against the specific cargo on the order or trip.

Configure Cargo Incident

  • Navigate to RATES > Order input

  • Left-hand menu: Cargo Options - Click on 'Incidents'

  • Click on 'New incident' to add a new option & complete the details under 'General Info'.

  • Set Customers that can see the incident via the Customer Portal, options include:

    • All customers

    • Select specific customers that can see the incident on the order in their portal view

  • Click SAVE.

📚 Make sure the incident option is set to ACTIVE on all the relevant Transport Services.

Once saved in configuration, the options are available to record against the CARGO details in the order.

Record cargo incident:

  • Click on the Edit icon on the cargo row

  • Select the appropriate option from the Cargo incidents

  • Click SAVE

  • The order will display a warning against the order number, and the cargo incident details will show in the Cargo row.

Unlike a Stop Incident (Collect/Delivery), there is no further action required once the cargo incident is recorded.


Viewing cargo incidents on the Customer Portal (Optional)

When enabled, incidents will display in the customer portal:
