ORDERS - Create orders in bulk from template

Easily create bulk orders using recurring or non-recurring templates. Create order schedules and copy orders for selected dates.

You can create orders using the template functionality. Here you can find how to create orders in bulk. This is relevant if you often have the same type of order coming back.

RECURRING templates create a schedule over a date range to quickly and easily create multiple orders.

RECURRING Template

  • Navigate to ORDERS > Templates.

  • Select Recurring Tab & Click on an order template

  • Schedule is shown in the top left corner of the Order Details page view

    • Click the Edit icon to update the schedule

  • Select the recurring template to copy the orders from

  • Select the date range orders are required for by entering a start and end date. Th

  • Add the number of copies required PER DAY.

  • Orders will be generated based on:

    • Scheduled days

    • Number of copies required per day

    • Set date range.

Update existing templates:

  • Existing templates that are not currently set to a schedule can be updated.

    • This will move the template to the Recurring tab.

  • To remove a scheduled template, toggle Schedule off.

    • This will move the template to the Non-recurring tab.


NON-RECURRING Template

Once a template has been set up, you can create orders using this template.

  • Navigate to ORDERS > Templates.

  • Select NON-Recurring Tab & Click on an order template

  • Click on 'copy order' on the right top side of the page.

    • Select the number of orders to be created from this template

    • Select the order dates.

  • Depending on the dates and amounts inserted, the system will calculate and give an overview of how many orders in total will be created

  • Click SAVE, the orders will appear with status 'To plan' in your order list.
