Create a template
An order template can be used if you want to set up the same order multiple times. Below you can find step by step how to create a template.
Navigate to ORDERS > Templates.
Click 'Create Template'.
Name your template according to how you would like to use it.
Create a RECURRING order template, toggle 'Recurring order / Schedule' on:
Fill in the template details just like in order creation
Set default values for fields like shipment type, weight and products details, and load/unload instructions and references.
Save it.
Template Settings
Add the number of copies to generate each day. This allows for variance if there is a difference in the number of orders needed each time the template is scheduled.
The schedule will show in the template order details and can be updated directly using the Edit icon.
📚 Maximum number of orders created from a template at one time is 750. When copying orders, an error may be received if the total amount exceeds this limit.
Note: Assign the resources, planning groups or prices to your template and these will be setup on new orders created using the template functionality.
To create a template from an existing order
Open the order that will be used as the basis for the template
Click on 'Create similar order' button
Select the Status as 'Template'
Update / Complete the remaining order details
Click SAVE.
Once you have set up a template, you can create orders in bulk.
Cancel a template
Navigate to Orders > Templates.
Click on the template that you would like to cancel.
Click on “Cancel order” and confirm that you would like to cancel the order.
Once your template has been cancelled, it will have the status 'Cancelled' and will automatically disappear from your templates list.
It will show in the Cancelled tab on the Orders list page.
