There are two supported ways in Qargo to create a trip with a date/time but no real resource assigned yet:

Plan New Trip and skip the resource (leave it empty)

1. In the planboard: Select an order &gt; Click Create new trip &gt; Merge the trip with a date and hour only. 
2. Save your trip.

1. Go to Resources &gt; add a new driver/vehicle &gt; Toggle Dummy Resource on.
2. On the Planning board, filter to show Only Dummies (or All resources).
3. Add orders to the dummy resource.

2. Preplanning with Dummy Resources
 1. Go to Resources &gt; add a new driver/vehicle &gt; Toggle Dummy Resource on.
 2. On the Planning board, filter to show Only Dummies (or All resources).
 3. Add orders to the dummy resource.

The 'To plan: Trips' option in the Planboard To plan dropdown lists every trip that's still waiting for a real resource. Both trips parked on a dummy resource and trips with no resource at all, gathered in one place.
