Concept
Palletline supports multiple service levels:
Please do NOT change the service codes as these sync with Palletline!
The service level influences the pricing.
This is handled in the rate cards configuration.
See more info on: Rate card customers in Configuration
For Saturday and Sunday deliveries, a surcharge will typically be applied, this is not done based on the service level addon itself, but on the “Requested weekday” metric.
Rate Cards get imported by Qargo team depending on the metrics provided on the rate documents for the specific service levels.
Implementation in Qargo
Service levels “Premium” and “Economy” are available as service levels addons in Qargo, with lead time of 1 and 2 days, respectively.
The “Saturday” and “Sunday” service levels are passed to the Palletline API if the requested delivery date is on a Saturday/Sunday.
This can happen due to the automatic delivery calculation, when the user used the “Request Saturday/Sunday delivery” toggles during order create (only possible if allowed in the service level configuration, or when they’ve set the date on a Saturday/Sunday themselves.
To allow Saturday or Sunday delivery simply go to Configuration -> order input -> service levels
Upon order creation you will have the option to toggle on the Saturday or Sunday delivery:
If an extra charge for Saturday/Sunday deliveries is needed, a metric is available to use in the price lists
Orders coming in with service levels “Saturday” and “Sunday” (”D”/”G”) won’t get a service level in Qargo, as no addon masters with these codes have been setup.
This is not an issue, as the dates are correct and the extra pricing for Saturday and Sunday does not depend on the presence of the addon.
