If you encounter an "Invalid PDF structure" error when generating Palletline consignment labels, the issue is typically caused by either missing data or a temporary API communication failure.

The error looks as follows:

Follow the steps below to diagnose and resolve the error:

Missing or Incorrect Consignment Data

A common cause of a failed label is incomplete or invalid data within the consignment details.

  1. Go to the consignment details and check that the following fields are correctly filled in:

    • Weight

    • Packaging size

    • Service level

    • PCS information

    • Pallet spaces

  2. Delete the invalid label, and then retrigger the dispatch task to the network.

Palletline API Failure

Occasionally, the Palletline API may fail with a technical error, often reported as "Unknown Username or Incorrect Password." This failure prevents valid PDF content from being returned, resulting in the "Invalid PDF structure" error in the web client.

If you see an invalid label and the manifest date of the Palletline consignment is today or in the future, follow these two steps to force a regeneration:

  1. Delete the Invalid Label: Locate the invalid label within the consignment details and delete it.

  2. Retrigger the Dispatch: Manually retrigger the dispatch task.

This action will resend the label request, regenerating the new, valid labels.
