Concept
When the order is created, a label must be printed. This label will be made available through the customer portal so that the consignor can print it and put it on the pallet(s). This way the pallets can be easily identified and the fork lift operator in the depot knows what to do with them when the collection trip arrives at the depot.
Implementation in Qargo
A pallet label is generated automatically after order creation.
This happens after the save, and asynchronously, so it might take a small amount of time before the document becomes visible.
Visibility of the pallet labels in the customer portal; one label will be generated per pallet (in a single PDF):
For the pallet labels to be visible in the customer portal, they must be configured in the documents configuration:
See more info on : Document Configuration for Customer Portal
Do you have issues viewing the pallet labels in the system? Please see our help article: Palletline labels: Invalid PDF structure for PDF labels
Generating own labels when the consignment is not via Palletline:
The best way to get this overview is by going to the orders screen:
You then need to apply the following filters on your orders table:
Under Customer you need to select IS NOT Palletline, this is necessary to filter out all the inbound orders from palletline:
Next you need to select the date of today as the collection date, so that you can see everything that is going out tonight. So click on the filter on "Order start" and then select "On"
And then select the date of today:
Under route you need to select Resource is not Palletline (export) so that everything that is going to palletline is filtered out
Under Transport service, select the transport service that you use for Palletline orders.
You then need to generate your own labels by clicking on quick actions and then Generate own labels (this task can have a different name on your tenant):
Then select all the orders in your view and press Complete Own pallet label
Once those documents have been generated, then you can click on the print button and then select Pallet label:
