You can add resource groups in Rates. This is useful if you have many resources and the planning work is divided based on different kind of resources or you like to have your planning board divided by resource.
Navigate to RATES > Order input
From the left menu 'Planning/Resource groups'
Select 'Resource groups'
Click on Add resource group
The new resource group will be added to the list.
From the right panel, enter the General information, giving the resource group a name to easily identify it.
Add any compatible resources that will be used within this resource group
Click into the individual lines to quickly enable the compatible resources that apply.
Once saved the planning board is divided into those categories
To improve visibility it is possible to filter on these groups on your planning board.
To hide resource groups, use the 'Customise' button to toggle the option off.
This can be done for both planning & pre-planning
📚 It is still possible to use the column filter to filter by the resource group, even if the option to display these is turned off.
