If orders from a customer always/in most cases goes the same depot in a transport network, it's interesting to set that depot as default depot in Configuration.

Add transport networks

  • Navigate to Locations.

  • Click on Transport networks in the header.

  • Add transport network.

  • Select the network type (Own or partner network), complete a name for that network.

  • Save it.

Add depots

Once you have set up transport networks, you can add depots to these networks.

  • Click on New depot

  • Complete the fields. The code will be used to match to map the depot location with the postal code zones.

Add the default depot for a customer location

You can configure which depot is used for which customer.

  • Navigate to Locations

  • Click on Transport networks in the header.

  • Click on the transport network you've created.

  • Go to Owned postal codes.

  • Add the depot code for the postal code.If you don't know the code by hear, you can go to Customers and search the postal code for a specific customer and consult the postal code.

In addition, you can also opt to add a default depot code. This means that if you did't set a depot location for a certain location, it will show the default depot code on the order.
