If orders from a customer always/in most cases goes the same depot in a transport network, it's interesting to set that depot as default depot in Configuration.
Add transport networks
Navigate to Locations.
Click on Transport networks in the header.
Add transport network.
Select the network type (Own or partner network), complete a name for that network.
Save it.
Add depots
Once you have set up transport networks, you can add depots to these networks.
Click on New depot
Complete the fields. The code will be used to match to map the depot location with the postal code zones.
Add the default depot for a customer location
You can configure which depot is used for which customer.
Navigate to Locations
Click on Transport networks in the header.
Click on the transport network you've created.
Go to Owned postal codes.
Add the depot code for the postal code.If you don't know the code by hear, you can go to Customers and search the postal code for a specific customer and consult the postal code.
In addition, you can also opt to add a default depot code. This means that if you did't set a depot location for a certain location, it will show the default depot code on the order.
